Wayne Holmes, a former New Zealander,
now a Australian living on the Gold Coast is a qualified carpenter and
master builder who started carving rocking horses in 1990 as a hobby.
After lots of trial and error Wayne mastered the carving technique he
now uses to replicate the rocking and carousel horses crafted by the masters
of the 18-1900s. Wayne personally handcrafts and finishes every aspect
of each horse with close attention to detail, and given the quality and
durability of materials used, expects each horse to last for generations. |
